93. Muddy Water. Eddi Reader

My acquaintance with this singer from Glasgow is thanks again to Peter Togni and Weekender. This is a contemporary song and although I know the words to it I'm not sure what it's about. Dr S is convinced it's about a woman who drowns her family in muddy water. In any case, I like the sound of it (the song, not drowning your family). This whole CD (see the end of the video) has other good stuff on it too. We liked it so much we bought a CD of Reader doing Robbie Burns songs. You will hear more of her before the decade is out.

Love the beat of this one....and the whistle(?) near the ending.
