I heard this on Jurgen Gothe's Disc Drive many, many years ago. It's a beautiful, simple setting of Psalm 42. This is on the CD Sing Lustily and With Good Courage: Gallery Hymns of the 18th and Early 19th Centuries, the title of which is from John Wesley's 1761 instructions for singing; Dr S takes this advice with varying results. The CD has some other great hymns on it, too. Also check out their Christmas CDs, A Tapestry of Carols and Carols & Capers - lots of good old Oxford Book of Carols stuff.

That was beautiful...I've listened to it over and over. Thanks.
