This is a relaxed, understated version of Jingle Bells. I usually reserve jazz Christmas CDs (Wynton Marsalis, Mel Torme, Ella Fitzgerald) for the days closer to New Year's, but this "Homecoming" Jingle Bells can be played pre-Christmas. There's also a very laid-back version of Joy to the World on this album.
I am so going to have to do an extra blog to tell you all my favourite and least favourite Christmas songs!
